NANOWRIMO 2011 Last-Draft Edited Version of Long Asimov-Inspired FanFic

INTRODUCTION

Chapter at the bottom.  
Be Warned:   It's a last-draft of some seriously crazy 'alternative-universe' (AU) Asimov fanfic.     And yes - where, I hope, appropriate - there's a bit of swearing, and badinage and even some jokes.     There's even a few fights too.     And some bawdy and sexual innuendo - but absolutely NO graphic or S&M type of stuff.
Slash Warning: There is a fair bit of openly-demonstrated physical affection with all three, and some kissing, stroking, and cuddling between Elijah and Daneel.  (Any 'sex scene' would be in a loving context). 
Final Note:  Again - as it's a last-draft (but written with passion!) I'm sure there's room for improvement, so any constructive feedback welcome (though not obligatory).
